I am 6'4", 225 lbs, 29yrs. I live in Toronto (pop. 6,000,000), Ontario, Canada. I have had plenty of time to deal with my HIV status and it's occasional little tests. I got HIV from open heart surgery in 1989 (for Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome caused bye mercury poisoning at age 11) I assume (I am not 100% sure how long, I had open heart surgery in 1989, bad heart, still need a pace maker, sex was always hard, but found girl who put up with my erection problems from heart, we went to get married, i got tested b4 marriage, I was POZ, she was neg, she was my only sexual partner from time of surgery to testing). All my time is devoted to my web sites, see how they keep me extremely busy HERE. |

run my own servers (chat, ftp, web, database, etc) to save expenses of
hosting 13 websites @ $50/month (would be $650/month which is 85% of my
disability). I am a single person making these sites
(not a corporation or
large team yet). I am on a fixed government income
(disability check that runs
out a week before the end of the month). I do not get funding or donations. All my services online are free! |
| I created my sites to give support for those infected with HIV/AIDS looking for friends, dating, talk thearapy or asking me and other people questions. I even get many HIV negative people come in and ask about risks, symptoms and facts. I help everyone equally (any sexual preference) in my chats, forums, emails, guest books, etc. Right now my sites are not very established as I cannot afford advertising. But word of nouth and free search engines are at least bringing about 20 new people to my chats, but they leave as I do not have many people hanging around to chat with so they leave or ask for an established chat, so I send them to ones better than me knowing they will never return. |

I am an Electronics Engineer, PC Specialist/Web Master and a Cabinet Maker (mostly dabble with PCs these days though). I hope to solve the world's problems, but no one listens (or cares). Many ways to save our planet, such as solar/wind/hydrogen/hemp/etc... |
I like to watch movies, surf the net/chat, music, occasional outings (restaurants, museums, shopping). Mostly, I enjoy hanging out at home programming web applications with my PCs since I do not have many POZ friends... I also play with my midi music keyboard/PC to create experimental music (some call it noize). Sorry ladies. I am no longer single as of Jan.18/2001. |
I am not religious, but I am not close minded either. I believe honesty and trust are what makes a friendship. I am a heterosexual, well at least I was before I found out... (heh) I have a great sense of humor and can be quite a comedian |

I am what doctors call a non-progressor since I do not take meds (untill my cd4 is less than 200) and never got too sick, although my CD4 count is only about 250 (under 200 is AIDS status). I do get some complications, like swollen glands, cuts and bruises take forever to clear up, I am always exhausted, no energy to even leave the house 60% of the time, occasional sores or my buttocks and inside my mouth. I used to cough up blood for over a year (bleach fumes are believed to have fixed this as doctors tried many antibiotics) and I was getting headaches 75% of the day (eating garlic has seemed to help, but garlic cannot be mixed with some HIV meds). But I have learned to accept these side affects and I disinfect and treat the sores myself. I use tiny amounts of bleach (trade names Javex, Clorox), even in the shower (spray bottle that I add a couple squirts when I lather my wash cloth). I also eat a whole garlic bulb (garlic cannot be mixed with some HIV meds) a day (fried, broiled baked or mixed in other foods) and take multi vitamins and other supplements.
